JAY-Z Kick Starts $10M Fund for Minority-Owned Cannabis Startups

Jay-Z giving back in a major way.

The 51-year-old rap mogul has launched a $10 million fund to help out minority-owned cannabis startups.

Hov hopes to help bring more diversity to the legal marijuana industry by investing in minority-owned cannabis businesses with this new fund.

“We were the ones most negatively affected by the war on drugs, and America has turned around and created a business from it that’s worth billions,” Jay-Z told The Wall Street Journal.

“I wanted to do something in a real, concrete way, where I do my part,” he continued.
